Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk are a private eye team with a difference - one of them is dead!
When Marty Hopkirk (Kenneth Cope) is murdered during an investigation, he returns as a ghost to help his partner Jeff (Mike Pratt) solve cases using his now supernatural powers. No walls can keep Marty out and as only Jeff can see him, he is the ultimate undercover investigator!
Marty's beautiful widow Jean (Annette Andre) suspects that Jeff is keeping a secret from her. Will she ever discover that her dead husband has returned and is still continuing his trade as a private detective?
