Duxford Airfield in Cambridgeshire is one of the UK's most popular air show venues with a reputation for the very best Warbirds displays, unusual formations, rare aircraft appearances and massed formation flying.
2007 proved to be an outstanding year for the venue, and this DVD includes the highlights from all four of the years air shows.
The first show staged in May 2007 included a special Falklands 25th Anniversary Tribute. It also includes a spectacular Mustang and Spitfire display pair, Team Guinot in action and the veteren warbirds of the BBMF. The finale features a massed helicopter tribute flypast for the Falklands.
Summer saw the staging of Duxford's most prestigious event: Flying Legends 2007 - which proved to be a genuinely outstanding show with dozens of rare and classic fighters and bombers thrilling the crowds. Also the first ever display of a jet at the event.
In September the airfield played host to a special family air show featuring the Red Arrows and The Great War Display Team. A Hawker Hunter Pair, B17 Sally B, P51s in action, Guy Westgate's superb glider display, an intriguing F-86 Sabre/Mustang Pair, an Auster and a 6 Spitfire formation display and tailchase!
An amazing F-16, Spitfire and Mustang formation headlined the fourth show held in October. Other routines were flown by The Fighters Collection's "Cats" including the hellcat and Wildcat, a rare Hunter and Seahawk pair, a Dakota, De Havilland Rapide, a 3 Chipmunk formation and a Hawker Hurricance formation. The show ended with the Matadors display team flown by Paul Bonhomvents!
