A spectacular movie with some fantastic special effects, The Day After Tomorrow takes you on a roller-coaster ride showing the supposed aftermath of three huge "superstorms" caused by global warming. Within days the northern hemisphere is plunged into an ice age and we follow the exploits of Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid) trying desperately to reach his son Sam who is trapped by the freezing conditions in the public library in New York City. No human enemy in this movie, just the weather!
