The Vietnam War was a significant episode from the history of the United States. Young american soldiers with an average age of 19 were sent thousands of miles away to fight in a foreign and hostile environment for a cause that was quite frankly unsupported back home. There were many casualties and episodes of horror that were hotly debated and continue to remain under discussion to this day. Many returning soldiers suffered from post traumatic stress syndrome and struggled to come to terms with their experiences many years on. This was a troubled time.
The music in this double CD has been taken and compiled from that time period and we think offers the listener the chance to remember and reflect on life during those troubled and somewhat sombre times.
